The acquisition of several companies in Son, the Netherlands, led to the establishment of Brabant Automobile Service. You also know right away that the name BAS is actually an abbreviation.
The takeover of Martin van Heertum in 1986 shifted us into the next gear. Martin had one dream. To introduce a total concept for the customer in the field of buying and maintaining trucks.
After Martin's sudden death in 2001, his sons Bas & Caspar took over the company and transformed the total concept into the Global Truck Concept. Under their leadership BAS continues to grow steadily and the highlights follow each other in rapid succession.
