Specialist Purchasing Support - German
Your challenge
Our total range consists of 5 product groups, light commercial vehicles - trucks - rigids - trailers and machines. We purchase around 10,000 objects around the world every year. For our product groups we are looking for an enthusiastic Purchasing Support Specialist who speaks the Polish and English language well. In this function you will work in the purchasing department within BAS World in Veghel or you can also working remote.
As a German speaking Purchasing Support Specialist, you map out new suppliers via chat, email and telephone. You collect leads from potential suppliers who are currently, or possibly in the future, going to offer a truck, commercial vehicle or construction machine for sale. By correctly qualifying the online leads and also enriching the customer data in our database, you know how to efficiently provide the first contact moments with our suppliers. If a supplier has decided to offer its vehicles to us, you ultimately link the supplier to the right buyer. He or she then takes over the purchasing conversation and proceeds to the negotiation phase. So you can say that you provide the perfect commercial lead for our purchasing team.
In short: your role is crucial for the commercial success within BAS and the achievement of our objectives. Do you want to develop yourself further in the field of purchasing vehicles and eventually grow into a position as a buyer in the field? This is for example a possibility.

Your tasks
- You are the link between our suppliers, buyers and the CRM department;
- Contacting and maintaining our existing relationships by telephone;
- Expanding our current purchasing network;
- Checking and supplementing supplier data in our CRM system;
- Handling requests from our suppliers from all over Europe.

- You have a good command of the German language;
- You are available full-time/part-time;
- You have a commercial attitude and like to work in an international environment;
