Online Purchaser Trucks – French
Your challenge
Our total range consists of 5 product groups, light commercial vehicles - trucks - rigids - trailers and machines. We purchase around 10,000 objects around the world every year. For our Trucks product group, of which we buy and sell about 6000 of them every year, we are looking for an Online Purchasing Specialist for France. You will work in the purchasing department within BAS World in Veghel.
As Online Buyer Trucks you will be responsible for handling all incoming offers from new and existing suppliers who want to sell their vehicle(s) to us. These offers come in from all over Europe through our websites and apps. As soon as an offer comes in, you decide whether we will immediately purchase the vehicle or whether you send a Buyer to view and assess the vehicle on location. You are responsible for ensuring that all suppliers receive a response as quickly as possible and you ensure that the best deals are closed.
In addition, you have the important task of building a good network with regular suppliers. You approach existing and new suppliers by telephone, you are continuously looking online for suitable vehicles and you ensure that we make optimal use of our network of suppliers. You determine the priorities for Buyers, support them with data analysis and ensure that the maximum return is achieved from existing relationships. You record the most important and most promising potential relationships per region and discuss them with the team. You keep an overview by means of our CRM system. You also jointly agree on what actions need to be taken to strengthen the relationship with suppliers.

- Finding and buying an average of 500 Trucks & Trailers per year online;
- Commercial maintenance of your network;
- Expanding our current purchasing network;
- Online search for vehicles on local marketplaces, auctions and at; leasing companies and trying to buy them;
- Contact the current supplier base in a timely manner in accordance with the set intervals.
