As Online Buyer you will be responsible for handling all incoming offers from new and existing suppliers who want to sell their vehicle(s) to us. These offers come in from all over Europe via our websites and apps. As soon as an offer comes in, you will decide whether we will purchase the vehicle directly or whether you will send a buyer to view and assess the vehicle on location. You are responsible for ensuring that all suppliers receive a response as quickly as possible and that the best deals are made.
You also have the important task of building up a good network with regular suppliers. You approach existing and new suppliers by telephone, are constantly searching online for suitable vehicles and ensure that we make optimum use of our network of suppliers. You determine the priorities for buyers, support them with data analyses and ensure that as much profit as possible is obtained from existing relationships. You record the most important and promising potential relationships per region and discuss them with the team. In doing so, you keep an overview using our CRM system. In addition, you will jointly determine which actions need to be taken to strengthen the relationship with suppliers.
