Field Inspector Commercial Vehicles
Your challenge
As a Vehicle Inspector you are responsible for the first important step of a high-quality advertisement on the basworld.com website. Together with a motivated external check-in team, you ensure that suppliers are helped as quickly as possible by recording vehicle specifications and you advise how to present the vehicle in the most optimum way. You check all vehicles, registration certificates, other relevant documents and make HD video/photo material. You will ensure that all vehicle specifications are carefully and efficiently registered in our systems.
You travel globally, you are additionally the representative of the organization, and make sure that the selected vehicles are checked-in completely within a maximum of 5 days (regardless of location) and BAS-worthy.
Not only do you need to have a keen eye for vehicle details, you are also the first point of contact for many of the sellers on our platform. Once you arrive at the seller’s location you will have to coordinate the efficient processing of all inspections to be carried out. This means you have to think practically and solve many small challenges that arise on the day. The seller’s experience is obviously very important so we need our inspectors to be customer focused.

Your specifications
- You have completed an Automotive, technical or comparable education;
- You are fulltime available;
- You like to travel;
- You have 0 – 5 years of relevant employment history;
- You have affinity with the Automotive branche;
- You speak fluently English;
- You have a dose of enthusiasm;
- You are flexible and have a service- and solutions oriented attitude.
This is where you’re going to work
BAS Trucks Workshop
You will work in the BAS Trade workshop in Veghel. All types and brands of used vehicles that have been purchased by the procurement team pass through this workshop. Think of trucks, trailers, commercial vehicles and machines. Mechanics, service coordinators and warehouse employees are running at full speed in the workshop to make all vehicles as new for sale. The atmosphere is good, the working hours are flexible. Don't you want to be part of that? The workshop is located on the grounds of the BAS head office at Mac Arthurweg 2 in Veghel.
