Strength

Facilitator. As one of the HR managers at BAS, I receive a lot of info about what is happening within the various departments. I always try to link the interests of the company and those of the employee to each other.
 

My spark

Because of the opportunities we provide, our colleagues can live up to their full potential and find the right place for them at BAS, which motivates me. Constantly looking for new colleagues who complete the puzzle.

Development and policy are important pillars at BAS. We are always working on new ideas and projects that benefit the development of our employees. At BAS you get many opportunities and you must deal with the international flair of the company daily. Every day the endless new possibilities and stories fill me with joy.

In addition, I think it is unique and a great achievement that we as an organization manage to maintain the atmosphere & friendliness of a small company combined with the strength & resolve of a large organization.

My path

After completing my degree in Management Economics & Law, I started working at BAS in a starter position at HR. I am from the region and BAS was on my list of companies where I wanted to apply. Unfortunately, the role I applied for right after graduating didn’t feel like the right thing for me. Two years later, I got back in touch with BAS and now I have been here for six years with great pleasure.

In the past six years we have experienced tremendous growth as an organization, and I have been lucky to be able to grow along! From HR operation and policy compliance to HR manager at BAS Trade.
 

Proud of…

I feel proud when we were able to put a new colleague in exactly the right spot within our organization. Only when someone is in the right place is he able to reach his fullest potential. He or she feels at home, is comfortable, is motivated to specialize or develop their skills further and therefore performs better.

Getting this done is sometimes quite difficult. We receive a fair number of resumes from graduates who often do not yet know exactly which direction or expertise suits them. In order to find out, we always have a chat together with an open mind, where we do not consider the vacancy, but the persona t first. We want to get to know someone, what he or she is passionate about and whether he or she suits BAS. Does he or she enjoy being given a lot of responsibility, like to think outside the box and move along with our growing organization?

In short, never a dull moment!
